The Ultimate Blog Party 2010 - Plus a Special Giveaway from Thrifty Jinxy

Anyway, for those of you stopping by from the party, let me tell you a little about myself and my blogs. I am married and, unfortunately don't have any kids (at least not yet).  However, I do have a gorgeous, sweet, smart, funny 23-month-old nephew.  I am his "nanny" 2 1/2 days a week and it's great to have so much time with him.  He is smart as a whip and talks up a storm.  There are times when I see glimpses of the Terrible Twos perhaps setting in, but he is still much more on the side of good, rather than naughty!  I also have my own furry kids - my German Shepherd, Hannah, and  three awesome cats:  Jinxy, Peanut and Lucky.

Blogging is a hobby for me and my other main hobby is sweepstakes!  I do love them and enter tons.  I have won some fantastic prizes.  My favorite prizes are trips and my best trip wins have been a 12-day luxury tour of China and a fabulous 5-star snowboarding trip to Telluride, CO.  I am self-employed with an online media sales business - primarily selling second-hand books, music, movies and other media. 

As far as my blogs go, Thrifty Jinxy is my main blog. This is my little "blog description in a nutshell spiel": Thrifty Jinxy helps you live a fabulous life on a frugal budget. Find everyday money-saving tips, great on-line deals, recipes, freebies, reviews of products that are worth your hard-earned $$$, thrifty ideas, giveaways and more!

Besides Thrifty Jinxy, I also write Jinxy Knows Best, which concentrates on healthy living with the environment in mind.  Jinxy Knows Best was my original blog, but was neglected for a long time.  With my re-commitment to health and the environment this year, I have also "resurrected" Jinxy Knows Best and it is alive and doing well.  

Last, but not least, I write Beauty by Jinxy, which focuses on the latest in beauty news, deals, freebies and reviews. - - - On a blog-related note, I am looking to complete redo the design of all three blogs and if you have any good recommendations for blog designers, please send them my way.  I also have purchased the domain name thriftyjinxy.com, but have been having a heck of a time switching over to it!
