When I was asked to review Fooz Kids I was skeptical. I am a grandmother who helps to care for my granddaughter while her mother works. My granddaughter is 6 years old and easily becomes bored. My granddaughter loves to play on my computer but I worry about her accidentally clicking on a link and ending up elsewhere as she has in the past. I don't want a bunch of games that I have to download and clog up my computer either. That was not an issue with Fooz Kids. I logged on and experimented on the account and then set her free to explore.
My granddaughter loves Fooz Kids. She can explore anywhere on their site without my worrying about where she is and constantly checking. She cannot leave the site without my password. The games are age appropriate for her. In the beginning you set up parental controls for the account which is another great feature of Fooz Kids. The games are mom approved and have all the characters she has grown up with. She has a variety of other options as well. She can e-mail, play games and go to the virtual room and have a virtual pet. My granddaughter loves to e-mail those family members she doesn't have the opportunity to see often. She takes great pleasure in receiving e-mails back and the joy it brings is priceless.
I love that Fooz Kids allows her to explore the wonderful world of technology safely. The experience she will gain in technology now will help her to have a great foundation in the future. Technology is such a major part of society now and will only grow to greater heights in the future. She is learning to write as well with Fooz Kids. That is amazing and another great jump start for her future. The best part is that she is having fun and doesn't even realize she is learning-its all in the name of fun!
Another great feature of Fooz Kids is that I can check in periodically and see her progress in the games and activities. There is a parental dashboard with tools just for the parents/grandparents to use. I would recommend Fooz Kids wholeheartedly. It keeps my granddaughter engaged and learning. No need to worry about safety as they have taken care of all the worrying for you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn and explore Fooz Kids.
